The National Beverage Company on the evening of December 8 launched their latest product Heineken into the Tongan beer drinking market, by hosting a function at the Billfish Bar, Nuku'alofa.

Janine Holden, the owner of NBC, recently sealed an agreement with Heineken as the sole distributor of in Tonga. Janine said that she tried a couple of years ago to introduce Heineken to Tonga beer drinkers, and even though it was popular but she wanted to secure NBC as the sole distributor of Heineken in Tonga.

Janine aims to bring in a container a month. and according to Janine it is the cheapest imported beer in Tonga at the moment.
