Country Chicken opens in downtown Nuku'alofa.



A taste of the country fried for invited guests.

The Country Chicken run by Konifelenisi Trading has found a new nest at the Bhagwan Building on Hala Taufa'ahau in central Nuku'alofa.

The new branch opened for business on December 1. Konifelenisi Bansal, the owner of Country Chicken, said that the new branch was an investment of $150,000 for her company to market their Country Chicken recipe. It was their first expansion from their base at the corner of Taufa'ahau Rd and Bypass Rd, Nuku'alofa. Country Chicken's speciality is fried chicken and chips, but they also serve fish and chips.
