Operation Ashika releases first list of missing passengers and crew [1]

Operation Ashika this afternoon released 37 names, on the first confirmed list of passengers and crew missing following the sinking of the MV Princess Ashika on August 5, 2009.

Inquiries and Investigation are continuing to confirm the names of all 93 persons thought to be missing.

There has been no further recovery of dead bodies and the search team has bot located any more survivors.

Weather conditions today were still not favourable in the area for the combined ANZ and TDS team that has been conducting the underwater search this week.
