Police confirm two deaths [1]

A 45-year-old man whose body was found in the Neiafu Harbour on June 7, had died from drowning the police confirmed.
Deputy Police Commander, Taniela Faletau in his weekly Crime Report today, did not release the man's name but said the body had been found floating around the pier of the Puataukanave Hotel in Neiafu. The Coroner's report had confirmed that the victim had been drinking alcohol and there was no suspicion of any crime.
Another death reported on June 6, was the suicide of an 18-year-old boy at Kolomotu'a. No details were given but the Cmdr Faletau confirmed it was a suicide case.
He added that from January to June of this year a total of four suicidal deaths had been committed in Tonga, which was the same number as January-June last year.
