Princess welcomes social exchange network with China [1]

The Vice-President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries CPAFFCA, Madame Li-Xiaolin arrived in Tonga on Saturday night, April 25 on a two-days visit.
Madame Li-Xiaolin was welcomed to Tonga by HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita, the president of the Tonga China Friendship Association (TCFA), at a reception at the Loumaile Lodge in Nuku'alofa.
During the reception Princess Pilolevu and Madame Li-Xiaolin expressed their willingness for the CPAFFCA and TCFA to establish a good working relationship.
The TCFA is interested in developing economic, cultural and social exchanges between Tonga and the People's Republic of China, working with counterparts in areas such as trade, investment, education and science as well as looking at environmental protection and rural and urban development.
The TCFA stated it would also like to develop cultural exchanges between Tonga based civil societies and their counterparts in the PRC.
Mr Yu Biamjiang from the Chinese Embassy said that after a fruitful discussion between Madame Li-Xiaolin and her three members delegation, and HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita and the board of TCFA, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding, "a guide line on how the two associations could work together to advance their interests."
Madame Li-Xiaolin who was accompanied on her Tongan visit by Mr Xie, Mr Qinc and Miss Wang, left Tonga on April 27.
