King to close Parliament November 10 [1]

The 2004 session of the Tongan Parliament will be officially closed by HM King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV on Wednesday November 10.

The Chief Clerk of the House, Fatai Pale, said that the closing ceremony will be held at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall and primary school children from through Tongatapu will take part in the closing ceremony by marching through central Nuku'alofa and the Royal Palace grounds.

Fatai said that the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly for this year ended on Wednesday November 3.
