A 300 metre swim at the Fine'upepe Swimming Pool.

The Triathlon Dash of the Friendly Islands Triathlon (FIT) last Saturday, March 28 was a successful meet with 37 competitors testing out their fitness on the three events.

A 300 metre swim at the Fine'upepe Swimming Pool, was followed by a 14km bicycle ride between Patangata and Ma'ufanga, and then a 3km run along breezy Hala Vuna.

There were no prizes for the winners, except that they could drink as much water as they wanted to.
