Before heading off to the World Cup in Dubai March 5-7 the Digicel Tonga 7s team and their management, took time out of their hectic training schedules to visit the Children's Ward at Vaiola Hospital in Nuku'alofa last week

The players presented each child with a signed rugby ball, and spent time chatting with the children and families. Coach Peter Tanginoa paid special thanks to the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who look after the children.

Digicel Tonga CEO, Christian Fruean, said "I hope the visit by the Tonga 7's team to the Children's ward will brighten up their day and take their minds off the pain that they may be suffering at the moment. In Digicel, we are very passionate about giving back to the community and hopefully the visit by the Tonga 7's will have brought a smile to their faces."

Digicel Tonga is also involved in working with the Paralympics, setting up the DigiGames and the Alonga Centre which is being cleaned and renovated.
