The Half Ironman competition consists of a 2km swim, 90km cycle and a 21.1km run, with 105 women and 254 men participating.

In the women's division there were nine age categories between 20and 64 years.

Of the 22 women competing in the 30-34 years old category Marie came 15th and was placed 45th in the overall Women's Division with her time of 6 hours 4 minutes and 48 seconds.

The winner of the Women's division was Britta Martin with a time of 4 hours 34 minutes and 56 seconds.

The Men's Division was won by Kieran Doe with a time of 4 hours 5 minutes 58 seconds.
