Princess Regent to close Parliament November 6 [1]

The Princess Regent HRH Princess Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita will close the 2008 session of Tonga's Legislative Assembly on Thursday, November 6.
The Chief Clerk of the Tongan Parliament, Dr Viliami Latu, confirmed today the closing ceremony would be held at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.
The occasion will be marked with the marching of Primary school children through central Nuku'alofa and the Royal Palace grounds.
HM King George Tupou V is currently in Australia and is expected to return to Tonga on November 8, according to the Palace Office, Nuku'alofa.
