A gift of food supplies for children with disabilities was donated to the 'Ofa Tui Moe Amanaki (OTA) Centre by Rev. Aminiasi Vuki and the women of the Free Wesleyan Church (FWC) of Longolongo.

The donation including boxes of chicken, hot dogs, crackers, and milk, was received by the Tonga Red Cross Society (TRCS) on 17 February, 2026 to support the OTA programs and services for children and youth aged 5 to 18 years.

TRCS Secretary General, Sione Taumoefolau acknowledged the contribution by the FWC Longolongo community.

“Support and partnerships such as this are vital in ensuring that children with disabilities receive the education, care and encouragement they deserve,” he said.

He extended an open invitation to members of the FWC community to volunteer their time and talents at the school noting that  added that active involvement plays a crucial role in enriching students learning experiences.

The Ofa Tui Moe Amanaki Centre, operating under the Tonga Red Cross Society, is dedicated to providing inclusive education and holistic support services. The Centre helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.
