New sponsor for Tonga Rugby Union [1]

Sanitarium Weet-Bix will sponsor Tonga Rugby Union’s men, women and sevens’ teams, which will take effect this month.
This means that the Weet-Bix branding appeared prominently on team jerseys and will also proudly feature at future community events throughout the rest of the season.
Sanitarium Weet-Bix will support Tongan players’ with nutrition and grassroots programmes across the islands.
Sanitarium’s Senior Business Leader, Lindsey Abrahams said they look forward to develop the current and next generations of rugby athletes in Tonga.
“We’re excited to work alongside Tonga Rugby Union to inspire the next generation of champions.”
TRU CEO, Aisea Aholelei said he was delighted to form this partnership with Sanitarium.
“We are proud to welcome Weet-Bix to the Tonga Rugby family. This partnership means more than just a logo on a jersey – It’s a game-changer for rugby in Tonga,” Aisea said.
The partnership kicked off immediately, with an official launch coinciding with the Pacific Nations Cup match against Samoa.
