Kelepi 'Inoke pleaded guilty to stealing a safe containing $2,000 pa'anga from the TCF supermarket during the riots of November 16, 2006.

The accused appeared before Chief Justice Anthony Ford in the Nuku'alofa Supreme Court earlier this month and pleaded guilty to two charges of housebreaking and theft.

Both offences related to the TCF Supermarket, where the accused entered the supermarket as a trespasser and stole the safe containing $2,000 pa'anga.

The Chief Justice adjourned his sentencing for July 11 and in the meantime he ordered a probation report to be provided on behalf of the accused.
