Saulala's sedition trial set for July [1]

Sangster Sauala, the former General Manager of the Oceania Broadcasting Television OBN, appeared for the first time in the Nuku'alofa Supreme Court on May 16.

Saulala is charged with two counts of sedition and riotous assembly relating to the November 16 riots.

The Chief Justice Anthony Ford adjourned the hearing to begin on July 11 at the Supreme Court.

Sangstar, who was represented by William Clive Edwards, previously appeared in the Nuku'alofa Magistrate court on February 10 when his case was submitted to the Supreme Court.
