Solomon Islands defeats American Samoa in OFC U-19 women's qualifier [1]

Solomon Islands bounced back on their second game and defeated American Samoa (7-0) on Monday, 10 Marchin the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship, qualifiers' stage tournament at the Loto Tonga Soka Centre on Tongatapu.
Solomon Island’s No. 10, Joy Toby, scored their first goal after quickly breaking through American Samoa’s defence in the 26th minute.
Joy scored two more goals at the beginning of the second half bringing the scoreboard to 3-0 i the 62nd minute.
Joy scored five goals total for her team and was backed up by her teammate, Gracester Kini, who scored the fourth and last goal for Solomon Islands.
Tonga’s Mataliki will face American Samoa in the last match of the qualifiers tournament tomorrow at the Loto Tonga Soka Centre.
Mataliki needs to secure a draw against American Samoa, to win the tournament and to qualify for the final rounds in September.
