Two women and man arrested in Police drug raids [1]

Two Fua'amotu women and a Fatai man were arrested in raids by the Tonga Police Drug Squad, on Friday, 28 February. They three remain in police custody while investigations are ongoing.
On Friday, 28 February, Tonga Police Drug Squad raided a residence in Fatai acting on reliable intelligence.
As a result of the operation, a 56-year-old male from Fatai was arrested. Police stated that 252 packs of alleged cannabis weighing 130.35 grams and one mobile phone device were seized.
Fua'amotu women arrested
On the same day, another raid was conducted at a residence in Fua'amotu, a police acted on reports of illegal drug possession and distribution within the Fua'amotu and Nuku'alofa areas.
During this operation, a 23-year-old female from Fua'amotu was caught in the act of allegedly selling and distributing illicit drugs to a 34-year-old fernale also from Fua'amotu.
The raid resulted in the seizure of 87 packs of alleged cannabis weighing 515.00 grams, drug utensils, and one mobile phone device.
Both suspects were arrested and remain in police custody.
