Tonga High School achieves the most Distinction grades [1]

The Tonga Form Six and Seven Certificate (TFSC & TNFSC) exam results for 2024, released yesterday 19 December, showed that Tonga High School achieved the most Distinction grades out of eight schools.
The Distinction Grade is the highest grade in the TFSC and TNFSC exams, awarded to students with a passing mark of 91-100.
Tonga High School Form 7 level had students who achieved the Distinction in nine subjects: Accounting, Biology, Computing and ICT, English, Economics, French Language, Statistics, Calculus and Visual arts.
Meanwhile THS Form 6 had students who achieved the Distinction in four subjects: Physics, Accounting, Computing and ICT, History and Mathematics.
Fifteen schools across Tongatapu, 'Eua, Vava'u, Ha'apai, Niuatoputapu and Niuafo'ou offered the TNFSC and a total of 688 candidates registered in 2024 (compared to 505 in 2023).
Meanwhile, 26 schools (14 in Tongatapu and 12 from the outer islands) offered the TFSC exams in 2024 and a total of 1349 candidates registered (compared to1490 in 2023).
The candidate's results for 2024 do not include the Qualify or Not Qualify performance status as well as the candidate's individual scores. Eligibility for enrollment to Higher Education will be at the discretion of the recipient institutions.
