Tongatapu youth learn how to create a business [1]

Twelve youth members from Tongatapu 7 and 8 districts participated in a basic business training yesterday, 6 November, in Veitongo.

The training is one of two programs implemented by the Youth Development division of the Minsitry of Internal Affairs.

The business training engages youth members in conversations around creating a business, challenges they may face during the process, how to market their products and services, and other skills necessary for building up a business.

Nine of the participants were female.

The training was conducted by Mausa Halahala and 'Olive Mafi from the Tonga National Youth Congress, with support from the Assistant CEO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. 'Onetoto 'Anisi.
