Two Fire Commanders for Tonga Fire & Emergency Services [1]

Tonga has two new Fire Commanders, with the promotions of AFC Sione Lavaka and AFC Vika Unga-Martinez, Tonga Fire and Emergencies Services announced today.

Fire Commander Lavaka was promoted in recognition of his long service and extensive experience as an Assistant Fire Commander.

Fire Commander Unga-Martinez was promoted after successfully completing her Masters degree in Human Resources.

The promotions were awarded by Fire Commissioner Tu'ihalamaka in Nuku'alofa.
