Pacific Adventure cruise ship brings 2000 tourists to Nuku'alofa and Vava'u [1]

The Pacific Adventure cruise ship brought 2000 tourists to Nuku'alofa yesterday, docking at Vuna Wharf.
The vessel's next port of call is Neiafu, Vava'u, today, where it will dock from 8:00 am untill 6:00 pm.
The cruise ship is operated by P&O Cruises Australia, and is a regular visitor to Tonga.
Anaseini Manuopangai from the Ministry of Tourism told Matangi Tonga that it was very exciting to have this many visitors on our shores, and that there were repeated visitors as well.
She said the tourists visited the local supermarket and the Talamahu Market in the capital. Others enjoyed cold drinks at the bars and nightclubs in town, while many visited cafes and restaurants.
There are 3000 people onboard the ship, with 2000 tourists, and 1000 crew members.
This was the 27th cruise ship visit to Tonga this year.
The Pacific Adventure arrived in Nuku'alofa at 8:00 am, and departed at 6:00 pm on 24 October.
