Tupou College Toloa wins TRL Secondary School's Competition [1]

The undefeated U-18 team of Tupou College Toloa won (22-10) against Liahona High School in the Secondary School Rugby League Championship 2024, held at Tonga College ‘Atele today, 3 May 2024.

Tupou College defeated Liahona High school in the Secondary School U-18 Rugby League final competition securing a cash prize of $1000 pa'anga. Their U-16 boys team won another $1000 pa'anga for dominating in their grade.

Supporters from around Tonga gathered at Tonga College. Schools whose teams participated in today’s finals were also present at the event, including Toloa, Liahona, ‘Atele and St Andrews.

Although it was a rainy day, the competition continued to its conclusion.

Meanwhile, Liahona High Schools’ women’s team dominated the U-18 competition with Queen Salote leading the U-16 grade.
