Tonga Customs seize 137.36 grams meth found in metal drum [1]

Tonga's Customs officials have seized 137.36 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that were concealed in a metal drum containing personal items, in a Customs warehouse at Ma'ufanga
The items were consigned to a 45 year old Tongan female from Kolofo'ou, Tongatapu.
Customs reported that the illicit drugs were intercepted on Thursday 4 April, after Customs inspections X-ray scanners detected substances inside two resealed Coffeemate containers, in a consignment that originated from United States of America (USA).
The illicit drugs were seized with the assistance of Tonga Police and the consignee was also handed over to Police. Investigations are ongoing.
