Commissioner McLennan encouraged the new recruits, “Policing is a difficult and challenging job, we need strong, stable, supportive families around us so that we can do the job that is expected of us. There is no room for individuals to do their own thing without also helping others, there will be some healthy competition, of course, but always remember, this is a team game!”
He thanked all the families for raising these new recruits and for supporting them as they start their service to Tonga.
The Commissioner encouraged Wing 52 members to approach this new chapter with bravery and to know that the community fully supports them. Their roles will require courage, compassion, and commitment to upholding the law bravery, and keeping our community safe, Tonga Police stated.
