Tonga's PM met NZ PM in Auckland today [1]

In Auckland today, Tonga's Prime Minister, Hon.Hu’akavameiliku held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Christopher Luxon, to discuss priority areas for cooperation and partnership, in climate change, cyber security, sports, health and education.
In a statement tonight, the Tonga Prime Minister's Office said that both sides emphasized the readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation to strengthen the Tonga New Zealand Statement of Partnership.
“The two Prime Ministers also discussed other areas of common interests, where Prime Minister Luxon congratulated Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku on his leadership at the COP28 Climate Meetings as Political Champion for Climate Finance and as incoming chair of the 53rd Pacific Islands Leaders Forum Meetings to be hosted in Tonga in August 2024.”
