Tonga Cable Ltd celebrates 10th anniversary with fibre-optic grant signing [1]

Tonga Cable Ltd. marked its 10th year of operations with a grant signing for the second Fiber-optic International Cable for Tonga, that will be installed through Vava’u.
With the government's intention to provide an alternative connection for the country, a grant was signed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Fekitamoeloa ʻUtoikamanu on 12 December.
Co-funded by the Australian and New Zealand Governments, the new cable will be installed through Vava’u.
The guest of honor at the celebration was the Prime Minister Hon. Hu'akavameiliku, joined by members of the Diplomatic Corps, civil servants and guests.
