Cruise ship brings 1253 passengers [1]

The Volendram.

A second Cruise Ship for October, the Volendam docked at Vuna Wharf in Nuku'alofa, this morning, 30 October, with 1840 people on board.

The Volendam carries 1,253 passengers and 587 crew. The majority of the passengers are American, said Tonga’s Ministry of Tourism.

The cruise ship was scheduled to depart Nuku'alofa at 6:00pm today and exected to arrive at Vava’u at 8:00am on Tuesday 31 October.

The Volendam is the 14th Cruise Ship to visit Tonga this year, leaving only four more cruises to arrive here before the end of the year.
