The 'Ikale Tahi scored three tries in their 49  - 18 loss to the Springboks this morning. 

The 'Ikale Tahi took the lead 3 - 0 just four minutes into the game and dominated possession throughout the first half. But they couldn't covert it into points as South Africa made the most of the ball, scoring three tries to lead Tonga 21 - 8 at half time. Ben Tameifuna scored Tonga's first try. 

South Africa dominated the first half, but Tonga still managed to score two tries in the form of Fine Inisi and Flyhalf replacement Patrick Pellegrini.

Tonga will next face Romania in their final World Cup game. Toutai Kefu, in the post presser, said that the 'Ikale Tahi had improved and he expected from them their best performance against Romania.
