Onion Squad taking Tongan hip-hop to street dance champs in Sydney [1]

Tongan hip-hop dance crew, Onion Squad, aim to be the first Tongan representatives at the prestigious World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) International Street Dance Championships in Sydney this week.
This competition will take place from 29 September to 1 October, at Hurstville Entertainment Centre in Sydney City.
WSB is the premier international street dance competition in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting some of the world's most talented dancers.
The crew faced numerous setbacks in the last three years,
“Onion Squad's journey to WSB has been nothing short of remarkable”, stated WSB. “This determined crew has persevered with unwavering commitment.”
Crew leader Joshua Savieti said, “As the first Tongan crew to compete in WSB, our goal is to go out there and represent our Kingdom, showcase the rich cultural heritage of Tonga through our dance and do the best we can.”
“Despite the challenges we've faced, we are excited and more motivated than ever to make our country proud.”
Onion Squad are composed of Camille Tangitau, Tevita Fakasiieiki and Paul Johansson.
