Liahona High School celebrates 75th Anniversary [1]

The Liahona-Saineha Alumni are marking Liahona High School’s Diamond Jubilee Anniversary in a joyful week-long celebration, which started on 9 July.

Hundreds of ex-students and students of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints secondary school took part in the celebration, with a Class Parade,from Navu Rugby Field to the school compound on Monday, 10 July. Feasting and traditional performances were also held.

Elder Taniela B. Wakolo who is on a Mission Tour with the Nuku‘alofa Tonga Mission also joined in the celebration, that included a flag ceremony and devotional reception at the school compound. This was followed by a welcome dance at the ‘Atele Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, 11 July.

Other events this week, included a float parade at Vuna road on Saturday, 15 July with a musical fireside at 'Atele Indoor on Sunday, 16 July.
