Tongan students graduate from Chinese universities [1]

Five Tongan students have completed their studies from various universities in China in the past academic year, the Embassy of Tonga in China confirmed.
In a statement the Embassy said there are currently over 40 Tongan students in China, studying for the past academic year 2022-23. “We are very grateful for the continuous support and funding from the government of the People's Republic of China that enable these students from all walks of life to pursue further studies. This opportunity not only benefits these students personally in advancing their knowledge, it ultimately helps in uplifting the country's economy when they return home after completing their studies.”
Graduates:
Cathy Cecilia Fili (‘Eua), graduated with a Master’s degree in Law/International relations from the Renmin University of China.
Jiaxu Po’uliva’ati (Folaha, Vaini and Shanghai), graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Science and Technology, Beijing.
‘Ofa Ki Maui (Nakolo and Malapo), graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from Liaoning University.
Patricia Tupou (Tatakamotonga), graduated with a Bachelor in Law/International Politics from Central China Normal University.
Sokopeti Moala (Ngele'ia and Halaleva) graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics.
