Lulutai pilots revalidated flight licenses [1]

Two Tongan pilots from Lulutai Airlines have revalidated their licences for the SAAB 340 aircraft, with support from the Australian Government.

Through committed support from the Australian Government, the pilots, Captain Mikaele Fa’asolo and Senior Officer Gustav Wolfgramm revalidated their licences for the aircraft SAAB 340.

Australia in Tonga FB stated that  two more pilots, Captain Samiuela Folaumoetu'i and Senior First Officer Isikeli Sikivou are also due to complete their revalidation by July.

“The training means that Lulutai can continue to meet international aviation standards.” 

“The flight crew’s successful recertification is part of the ongoing support from Australia for Tonga’s economic recovery and a sustainable and safe national airline,” they said.
