Miss Heilala 2019-22 Yehenara Soukop expressed her gratitude as she prepares to close her Miss Heilala chapter, after reigning for four years.

Yehenara shared her appreciation through Facebook as she is ready to hand over crown and title for the Miss Heilala 2023.

“After reigning for four years, I anticipate meeting this year’s contestants and working alongside the Ministry of Tourism and Tonga Tourism Authority as I fulfil my final duties as your Miss Tonga.”

Heilala Festival to be held on 26 June to 6 July, with the theme "Tonga my Kingdom."

Outer Islands will join the pageant as well. Contestants from Vava'u registered directly to the Heilala Committee, while Ha'apai held their own pageant competition to select a representative for the Miss Heilala. 'Eua, will held their competition Thursday and Friday this week.

Heilala Program was updated through Tonga Tourism's Facebook. All program confirmed except for the High School's Brass Competition scheduled for 26 June, yet to be confirmed.
