Three people have been arrested in two separate drugs busts that seized methamphetamine and cannabis on Tongatapu this week.

Police today stated that a 27-year-old man from Pātangata was arrested on Wednesday night, 10 May with seven packs of methamphetamine weighing at 0.42 grams, six packs of cannabis at 27.81 grams and drug utensils.

On the next day, a 27-year-old man from Pahu, with a 27-year-old woman from Mataika, were arrested with 14 packs of methamphetamine weighing at 2.43 grams, 11 packs of cannabis at 3.19 grams and drug utensils.

Police acknowledged members of the public for their ongoing assistance in sharing timely information with Police.
