New medical equipment for Princess Fusipala Hospital, Ha'apai [1]

The Princess Fusipala Hospital in Ha'apai received new medical equipment during a handover event by the Ministry of Health, on 29 April. 

The equipment which will improve health services for the people on the outer islands, included a heavy duty washing machine, dryer and a medical oxygen generator. 

CEO for the Ministry of Health, Dr Siale ‘Akauola told Matangi Tonga today that these are essential medical equipment for the island's hospital.

The Medical Oxygen Generator was from Vaiola Hospital, with the washing machine and dryer provided by the Ministry of Health, he said.
