Tree planting at ‘Atata Si‘i [1]

A tree planting event was held at ‘Atata Si‘i on Tongatapu, Friday, 31 March, in an outreach program for the environment with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry in partnership with local businesses and school students.

ASCO Motors Tonga stated today that they took part in this important first project last week. They were joined by students of GMS Te'ekiu, planting trees at 'Atata Si'i. The replanting will improve the state of the environment after the destructive HTHH eruption events last year. 

“We are doing an outreach for the community and also help the Government's aim, to plant one million trees,” said ASCO Motors CEO, Tonga Po’oi.
