Women from the Western District wave red flags.

Women dress in white for the FWC roll call.

The annual roll call for the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga saw hundreds of women dressed in white at the Centenary Church in Nuku'alofa today. For the women the annual event known in Tonga as the Faka-Sepitema, confirms membership of the church and an acceptance of a personal call from God. The occasion is usually held in September but this year, it was postponed to October, because the church commemorated the passing of His Late Majesty King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV last month.

Sulia Kafalava and Tangitangi Veikoso of Nukunuku.

Women from the Ma'ufanga District answer their call.

Falute and Saane from the Hihifo District.

Sela Finau and Alisi Pone.
