Catholics celebrate in Nuku'alofa [1]

A special celebration of feasting and traditional dancing was held this afternoon, by Tongan Catholics at the 'Api Fo'ou College school ground.
The joyous occasion honours Monsignor Paini Mafi, the newly ordained Coadjutor Bishop, that drew together hundreds of Catholics throughout Tonga, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
The day featured colourful performances for the Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata'aho and HRH Princess Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita.
