'Atatā Si'i official name of new village [1]

Officially, 'Atatā Si'i. 2 February 2023.

The newly established village, located in the western district of Tongatapu, has been officially named ‘Atatā Si‘i.

The Palace Office announced the offical name today, 2 February 2023, and stated that the residents of ‘Atata Island have now relocated to land of Prince Ata which is not a part of Masilamea.

“Therefore, we wish for everyone to address the new settlement by its true name and not Masilamea,” the Palace stated.
