PM meets Australian and NZ Chiefs of Defence [1]

The Prime Minister Hon. Hu’akavameiliku received two top defence officials, from Australia and New Zealand, today, 26 January, in Nuku'alofa.
The Australian Chief of the Defence Force, General Angus Campbell and the New Zealand Chief of Defence Force, Air Marshall Kevin Short, made a courtesy visit to the PM, who is the Minister of His Majesty's Armed Forces.
The Prime Minister's Office stated that this provided an opportunity to follow up from meetings conducted during the 2022 South Pacific Defence Ministers' Meeting that focuses on regional and bilateral cooperation.
Accompanying the two top defence officials were the New Zealand High Commissioner HE Matthew Howell and the Australian High Commissioner HE Rachael Moore.
