53-year-old arrested in police drugs raid [1]

A 53-year-old man was arrested in his vehicle for selling illicit drugs, in which quantities of illicit drugs were seized at Popua on 24 November.

Tonga Police said today the raid resulted in the arrest of the accused from Tokomololo. Police said they seized packs of methamphetamine and cannabis, drug paraphernalia and over $4,000 pa’anga.

They have not released details of the amount of drugs seized.
