Asco Motors Tonga opens new showroom [1]

Asco Motors Tonga Ltd's new showroom was opened by the Acting Prime Minister, Hon. Samiu Vaipulu in Nuku’alofa on 10 October.
Japan’s Ambassador HE Mr. Kensaku Munenaga and Toyota Tsusho Managing Director, Mr. Shida Akira of Japan, were also present among invited guests.
Hon. Samiu Vaipulu expressed his gratitude as Tonga looks forward to a steady increase in its economy following the re-opening of the borders.
He said Government had felt the impact of the last two to three-years when Tonga closed its border.
“I thank Asco for having a display room that features quality vehicles for the people of Tonga and hope with God’s blessing their good future,” he said.
CEO for Asco Motors Tonga, Tonga Po’oi said they were very pleased to re-establish and create a new look to their office in Nuku’alofa.
"This development project investment, centred on modernizing our service reception and building a new vehicle showroom”.
The $500,000 investment will assist Asco Motors in achieving its strategic goals, and contribute towards improving our productivity and performance in their services.
He also acknowledged project partners, including Chelster Sika and his construction company, Five Star Construction Company Ltd., with Saia Helu and JH Electrical.
