Parliament adjourns until further notice [1]

After two-days of deliberations, the Legislative Assembly of Tonga was adjourned on Tuesday, 6 September until further notice.

Acting Speaker Lord Tu’iha’angana made the adjournment.

The Legislative Assembly reconvened on Monday, 5 September, after MPS MPs completed their annual constituency visits from 15-31 August.

Its agenda this week had included Parliament passing a number of Government Ministries' Annual Reports.
