People's Representative Lepolo Taunisila joins Bridge of Peace.

Three Tongan People's Representatives joined a special Bridge of Peace Ceremony conducted by peace volunteers from the Universal Peace Federation, at the Korean House Restaurant, in Nuku'alofa last night, August 23.

Chihiro Middorikawa, the Secretary General of the UPF and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification-Tonga - organisations founded by Rev. Dr and Mrs Sun Myung Moon - said that the ceremony provides opportunities for individuals to create a new brotherhood or sisterhood partnership with those from different nations, faiths and cultures and committed them to bridge the gaps of heart between them.

"They see beyond collective hurt and determine to reconcile and heal through their heart-to-heart friendship and experience a new beginning."
