Ten Tongan students graduate from Chinese universities [1]

Ten Tongan students have completed their studies from various universities in China in the past academic year.
The Embassy of Tonga in China said today, with the global pandemic around the world, these students persevered and navigated through online classes, lockdowns and many other challenges, in addition to being away from home.
"They have triumphantly achieved a milestone in their academic journey. ...In addition, we are grateful for the continuous support and funding from the Government of the People’s Republic of China that has enabled these students from all walks of life to pursue further studies,” stated the Embassy.
The graduates are:
- Siuesi Kama, Master in Economics form the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics
- Semisi Fifita, Bachelor of Engineering, Navigation Technology from Dalian Naval Academy
- Mele Kupu, Bachelor of Engineering Aeronautical Engineering from Nanchang University of Aeronatics
- Koloa Mafi, Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Beijing University of Technology
- Lisiate Mafi, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology
- Louisa Meyers Pale, Bachelor of Science, Geology from China University of Geoscience
- Susana Takau, Bachelor of Science, Geology from China University of Geoscience
- Kati Tu’ihalangingie, Bachelor of Management from the University of International Business and Economics
- Lafumoa Vaipulu, Bachelor of Law in International Politics from the University of International Business and Economics
- Enya Vaitohi, Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language from Xi’an Jiaotong University
