Three people who were injured, including two elderly women are in Vaiola Hospital. They are reported to be stable.
The two others who were in the house are fine, he said.
The fire was reported to the Fire Services by a policemen at the Central Police Station at around midnight. When the fire truck got there shortly afterwards, the blaze had already engulfed over 60 percent of the wooden house, he said.
