Repatriation flight from Brisbane suspended [1]

A repatriation flight to Tonga that was being discussed to come from Brisbane, Australia has been suspended until further notice, said MEIDECC CEO Paula Ma'u today, Friday.

He said this is due to the rising COVID-19 cases there.

Two other chartered flights to Tonga planned from Vanuatu and Pagopago next week have not been confirmed,

Meanwhile, the only flight on schedule to arrive on July 28 is from Auckland.
