Meth and $21,000 cash seized by Police [1]

Seven people were arrested by Tonga Police, after seizing illicit drugs, including 12.12 grams of methamphetamine and over $21,000 pa’anga, at five different locations in Tongatapu.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Halatoa Taufa, National Crime and Investigations, said today the arrests were made over the period 16 to 24 June 2021.
The accuseds' ages ranged from 26 years to 45 years.
"Our fight against drugs is ongoing and we continue to urge communities to remain vigilant and share information with Police. Remember, we are stronger together," he said.
“It is our collective responsibility to protect our children and communities from the harmful effects of drugs by exposing and bringing drug dealers to account,” he added.
