Repatriation flight arrives from Australia [1]

A repatriation flight with around 141 passengers arrived in Tonga today from Brisbane, Australia.

Superintendent of Police, ‘Atunaisa Taumoepeau said this afternoon, the passengers are being quarantined at Tanoa Hotel and Makeke Camp in Vaini for 21-days.

This is the second repatriation flight this week, after 107 passengers were repatriated from Auckland, New Zealand on June 2.

Meanwhile, the Tongan Government is still monitoring the status of COVID-19 cases in Fiji and no date has been set on the repatriation flight from there.
