Crime Stoppers Victoria, Australia is coordinating a global media release to assist Victoria Police in capturing Antonios (Tony) Sajih Mokbel. Independent of Crime Stoppers the Victorian Government are offering up to $1M (AU$) for information that leads to Mokbel's arrest.

Mokbel is wanted for absconding on bail whilst awaiting sentence for major cocaine trafficking charges for which he was sentenced to nine years prison in his absence. Since his disappearance a warrant has also been issued for his arrest in relation to a murder.

This is a normal part of our operations; however we seek the support of Media world-wide to assist us with any information relating to the whereabouts of this dangerous criminal who may be in the company of his wife Danielle Maguire. Mokbel is believed to have an extensive criminal network throughout the world centred about organised drug trafficking operations.

If he is located extradition will be sought by Victoria Police.

It is reasonably expected that Mokbel is no longer in Australia.
