A Fakalelea ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at the family home of Princess Pilolevu Tuita and the Noble Tuita to celebrate the marriage of their second daughter, Hon. Fanetupouvava'u Tuita to Siaosi Kiu Tau-ki-Vailahi Kaho.

The groom's family arrived at the bride's home, Mahinafekite, with Tongan gifts including beautiful mats and tapa as well as large pigs and kava.

The groom's family was led by Noble Havea Tu'iha'angana who was greeted by the bride's family outside her home, and after the traditional rituals of announcing the gifts the celebrations continued with music and dancing.

Hon. Fanetupouvava'u also drank her first kava during the ceremony.
